Our client is seeking a maturely experienced all rounded, Multi-Skilled-Engineer to join and supervise their process department, ideallypossessing a background within fast moving manufacturing. Recently acquiringa new site to further develop their multifaceted company and product range, this is very advantageous time to join the company in order to secure career progression. Salary £36,000 Mid Somerset Annualised FlexibleHours This is a vital role within the engineering and process team, responsible for breakdown and corrective actions as well as participating in condition monitoring and the delivery of preventative, planned and reactive maintenance activities. Responsibilities - Attending to breakdowns as and when they occur - Daily maintenance and greasing of machinery, issuing mill working hours to various contractors weekly ,weekly servicing of mill machinery - Pomace dry matter testing - Overseeing temp staff, subcontractors and reporting any problems - Forklift duties include removal of waste skips and loading and unloading of mill yard deliveries and collections ,spillage training and product quality checks - Cleaning and improvements to the mill are carried out and when requiredwork in other departments such as bottling line overhauls are assisted. - Assisting other engineers on site and contractors as necessary. - Daily and weekly KPI spreadsheets - Daily raw material stock checks Successful Candidates will require - Apprenticeship / ONC / HNC minimum ( NOT essential however would be an advantage) - FMCG / High speed manufacture experience - Mechanical and or electrical Engineering experience - Supervisory experience within a high speed manufacturing environment - Demonstrable expertise in component and sub-system fault finding and reporting The company A family founded business with strong moral values, awarding their staff with very competitive salaries and perks.
