Job Description We are currently recruiting for a Mortgage Administrator Apprentice to join a busy Mortgage and Life Brokerage in Stepps. Duties/ Responsibilities The role of the Mortgage Administrator Apprentice will be to provide administrative, secretarial and clerical support to the brokers and to maintain an efficient office environment. The role will involve but not be limited to; - Answer phones and transfer to the appropriate staff member - Updating client files with accurate information - Maintaining and updating databases and IT systems - Scanning and retrieving documents and files - Updating clients over the phone and by email on their progress - Chasing information required for applications and the brokers - Arranging and confirming client appointments for brokers - Meet and greet clients who come into office and set up meeting rooms when necessary - General office and admin duties as and when required Qualities / essential requirements The successful candidate will ideally have; - High level of accuracy and attention to detail - Good confident telephone manner and excellent communication skills - Strong IT skills - Good organisational skills and time management skills - Well presented, professional and personable - Be able to prioritise workload and work under pressure - Want to learn, develop and be ready to start a career Desired Qualifications Minimum 5 National 5's (incl.
