Job Title Multi Skilled Technician Salary £29,000.00 per annum. Location Mobile role covering South Wales, predominantly Llanelli to Newport, South Wales, M4 Corridor (vehicle and fuel card provided). 40 hours per week, based on a 26 week 'average hours' system. Where you'll work This a mobile role working in steam boiler houses in Hospital's and Industrial clients sites, along the M4 corridor from Newport to Llanelli'. What you'll do As a Multi Skilled Technician you will be responsible to carry out Statutory, planned and reactive maintenance on Boiler and Utilities plant. Routine Steam Boiler operational tasks to comply with legislation and company policies. You will carry out Electrical planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities and able to carry out fault diagnosis on Electrical LV control and power circuits. As the Multi Skilled Technician you will be responsible for maintenance and publication of plant quality records and reports and ensuring compliance with the companies' health and safety, quality and environmental policies. Within this role you will be customer focused with effective verbal and written communication skills. Skills & Qualifications required for the role To enable you to carry out this role you will have the ability to diagnose and offer effective countermeasures for critical plant breakdowns to maintain essential services to our customers, have Mechanical / Electrical, multi-skilled experience. You will be a proven self-starter with a pro-active approach to maintenance and hold an ONC or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering. You will be safety focussed with experience in preparation of Risk Assessments and Permit To Work. You must hold a full driving licence. Knowledge of steam raising plan, Industrial Gas Qualifications / Experience and experience with Dual Fuel Burners, combustion control maintenance and testing is desirable, however this is not essential.
