Our client is a well-respected international environmental and engineering consultancy with expertise in mining, renewable energy, minerals, waste resource management, utilities, infrastructure and planning.

Due to continued and sustained growth our client is looking to appoint a Senior Rivit Technician to join its civil and structures team, working on a wide range of projects predominately for Asset Managers, Developers, Local Authority, Housing Association and end user clients in the construction industry.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a number of medium / high rise projects on a large selection of refurbishment and remodelling schemes within a dynamic team that is supported by multiple UK based offices

The Role

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Working as part of a team on the analysis and design work for a variety of construction-based projectsA predominantly office based position, however occasional site supervision duties requiredPrimarily working on highway and drainage design, with the ability to support the team on different roles as / when required
·Leading and working with graduates and technicians to translate outline engineering proposals to detailed design drawings

    Managing the delivery of individual tasks or activities to programme and budget

The Person

·A first degree and / or MSc in a related discipline

·Chartered or near chartered status

    Good working knowledge of Micro DrainageSome experience within the following sub-disciplines: flood risk assessments (including MIKEFLOOD software packages), sustainable urban drainage systems and surface water management schemes.
·Possess excellent written / oral communication skills, offer strong presentation and computer skills, be highly motivated and used to working to tight deadlines

    The ability to perform effectively within multi-disciplinary teams The ability to communicate effectively at all levels
·Ability to demonstrate that they are a quick learner, with proven initiative to work within a team
