Our client, a provider in specialist education for children and young people, currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head teacher to join their team based in the South East.

Commutable from the Guildford, Epsom, Maidenhead, Farnham, Crawley, Aldershot, Twickenham and Slough areas.

This is a full time permanent position.

All applicants must be NPQH qualified and hold QTS status.


Overview
As a well-established and creditable provider in specialist education, to children and young people with various degrees of autism (ASC), associated learning disabilities and SEMH, following a period of sustained and organic growth, the team are now looking to further develop & improve their services.

This is an exciting opportunity to drive the desired service developments, whilst working in partnership with the senior management and residential team. You will be responsible for overseeing and heading up, all day-to-day operations for the running of the school, maintaining streamlined processes, and ensuring excellent quality.

It will be perfectly suited to a committed and experienced head teacher, with ambitions to progress with their career in the future.

Criteria
**NPQH & Qualified teacher status
**Minimum of 3 years SEN (specialist education) experience
**Previous headship experience of deputy of a large school
**Passionate, approachable and quality driven
**Experience in service/school improvement
**Confident in building key relationships
**Ability to demonstrate and promote key values

Salary
The salary on this position is £60,000 - £75,000 dependent on experience, plus benefits including teachers’ pension scheme, life assurance and childcare vouchers.
