An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client, a prestigious Wealth Management firm who are currently seeking a highly credible candidate with solid regulatory knowledge to join their team based in Cirencester.

This role will see the candidate lead high value and high profile transactions through the sales process to completion and post-sale support. You will deputise for the Team Manager on an ad-hoc basis and supervise the Sales and Purchase team to deliver a high-quality service. This role will also provide expert advice and guidance to the Partnership on all aspects of the sales and purchase process and any related matters pre and post sale.

Key Responsibilities:

·Leads high value complex cases and ensures that IFAs and stakeholders are fully aware of the process to be followed and status of the transaction.

·Delivers a professional consultancy service to the IFA covering all aspects of the scheme and any related matters through face to face meetings and presentations.

·Supports the Team Manager to develop the role of the sales team and ensures that coaching and personal mentoring needs of the Sales team staff are effectively delivered to maintain effective performance levels.

·Engages key stakeholders in a manner that builds confidence and respect for the performance of the team and the scheme.

·Owns and ensures we deal effectively with escalations, issues and disputes.

Required Skills:

·Good problem solving skills required to understand the different requirements of IFAs businesses and how to adapt the proposition and process to meet the needs of IFAs whilst balancing the requirements of the company.

·Good analytical skills required to understand commercial, financial, tax or regulatory issues and their impact on a BSP transaction.

·Ability to empathise and demonstrate resilience when dealing with a range of IFAs from new starters to Principal Advisors.

Required Technical Knowledge:

·Detailed knowledge of the end to end sales process from initiation, valuation, sale, completion and post-sale support.

·Good knowledge of regulatory, compliance, accounting, tax and legal principles applicable to the role.

·Good knowledge of how the IFA Market and how IFA businesses operate particularly in relation to remuneration, trading styles, tax, regulation.
