We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Merchandiser to join our Merchandising team in our Head Office based in the City!

Lewin himself developed the first buttoned down shirt, setting the tone for the shirt we know and love today. Fashions may have changed since 1898 but excellent craftsmanship, quality, service and value remain the driving force behind the T.M.Lewin brand. We continue to use many of the same traditional manufacturing techniques devised all those years ago and over a century later. The quality of our business wear remains among the best in the world and we now have close to 100 stores in the UK, with new stores opening in countries across the rest of the world, including Europe, Singapore and Australia.

Reporting to a Senior Merchandiser and working within a team of buyers and merchandisers covering you will be responsible for assisting in the planning of the lifecycle of your products for retail, on-line, franchise & Australia.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

Intake management

    Set up and maintain delivery schedule utilising range plan and critical pathLiaise regularly with suppliers to control intake. Advise junior merchandiser of any discrepancies in terms of late or early deliveriesManage repeats/cancellations/slippages in light of implications on all business functions, such as warehouse, VM and stores.Online launches communicated to web teamEnsure PO’s are accurate and up to dateDC intake forecasts are communicated to TorquePrioritising weekly delivery with TorqueStock Call in for core range for all channels.Closing off Dockets in CIMS
Distribution management

    Manage stock launch packages (Mars Lines) to stores, web team & franchise team.Understands store gradings and distribution plans, works with Merchandiser to ensure grades and distribution plans remain commercial
Trading

    Reviews commitment and best/worst sellers-highlighting risks and opportunities to the junior MerchandiserCarry out ad hoc reports to support current trade for Monday meetings, attending where possible.Attend weekly sales and stock meetings for your department.Availability Monitoring of your products & recommend actions
Planning

    Provide analysis to Merchandiser to support planning functionProvide analysis to support range reviewUsing experience of intake, distribution and trading to provide input to lessons learnt/SWOT analysis to Merchandiser for pre-season planningManage and analyse product size ratiosAssist junior merchandiser with Shirt Buy every two weeks.
KPI's

    Assist Senior Merch to achieve Sales across all channels for Core/continuity range.Assist Senior Merch to achieve availability targets.Assist Senior Merch to achieve stock targetsStock Call in for all channels to maintain sales and availabilityGood communication
