I am currently recruiting for a Graduate NPD Technologist on behalf of a Food processing business in the heart of Yorkshire. Due to successful growth the New Product Development team are searching for passionate 'foodie' within their buoyant market. In order to join this, one of a kind business, you must have recently graduated in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Marketing or similar

The New Product Development Team is a small and creative part of the expanding business. They are crazy, creative, extremely fun and supportive. They work extremely hard to ensure customers (both prospective and current) are satisfied with their ever-growing requirements of new food innovations and products. They meet regularly with new and existing suppliers to examine the latest trends in the marketplace in terms of food ingredients and work this into their latest innovations for their customer presentations. They ensure customers are embedded into the factory and processes and procedures are stringent throughout the pre and post first production process. The team have a passion and flair for food and demonstrate this regularly, whether it be showcasing their cooking talents with internal department team lunches or through innovation with new customers and visitors.

The Role

This is a 12 month secondment upon completion of which, if the candidate has proven their willingness to progress and integrate themselves into the team, then this will lead to a permanent role. With the opportunity to go permanent the role will also come with an increased salary along with more responsibilities allowing the successful individual to thrive within their role.
