This is an opportunity for a senior property management surveyor with a proven track record managing a team of surveyor and a complex property portfolio. This opportunity sits within a growing property team in a major UK public sector property vehicle.
Your new company
This organisation was established in 2013 and is responsible for the Asset Management, Property Management & Facilities management of a vast mixed use property portfolio. The successful candidate will be managing a team of 4 surveyors who are currently responsible for a lucrative London property portfolio made up of over 300 assets. You will be tasked with improving the efficiency of day to day property management, major leasing events and tenant relationships within an under performing team.
Your new role
The Principal surveyor will be responsible for the effective management of a small property team currently made up of 4 senior surveyors managing a complex central London commercial portfolio. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing an under performing team with a common goal to improve the efficiency of the portfolio. There is currently a backlog of unregulated leases, rent reviews and lease renewals to be completed while assisting with implementing new asset strategies.
What you'll need to succeed
It is essential to be an MRICS Chartered Surveyor with over 10 years PQE with a proven track record of team management. It is desirable that the candidate will have a mix of public & private sector experience managing complex multi tenanted portfolios. You will have a core understanding of formulating estate strategies and the ability to show best practice when dealing with acquisitions, disposals and all asset management services. This role will require a strong team leader who can drive and motivate an under performing team while keeping a tight control on budgeting, service charges and risk management.
