Job Purpose

To maximise the business potential by being a brand representative in key high street stores within the UK. This includes merchandising product in stores and product training for staff.

Key Responsibilities

·Carry out store visits to update Visual Merchandising

·Coaching of store teams and educating them on brand principles and product technology

·Provide feedback to both store management and American Essentials International to ensure brand standards are achieved

·Updating and maintaining all in store POS

·Documenting and reporting on visits via our online portal (not set up yet) This includes proficiency in capturing clear images of your work through photographs.

·Prepare & distribute seasonal wall plans and training notes to the regional Merchandisers in line with brand principles.

Personal Specification

Experience Requirements:

·2+ years’ experience as a branded sales consultant or similar. Experience within hosiery or footwear would be desirable.

·Experience in training and presenting to small/medium sized groups on the selling floor.

·Field experience would be advantageous, but not essential.

Required Skills:

·Ability to work independently with a motivated and committed approach

·Visual merchandising skills and eye for detail with the ability to create solutions when needed

·Ability to build good relationships with in store staff and colleagues

·Ability to correctly implement directives, planograms or merchandising instructions as specified

·Communicates respectfully, timely and effectively (both verbal and written)

·Intermediate computer knowledge (Excel, Word and email)

·Flexible and open to UK travel and occasionally to Europe travel.

·Ability to lift and assemble fixtures when required.
