Your new school
An impressive independent mixed school situated between the borders of Nottingham and Derby, who are complimented by modern facilities and creative spaces, are looking to appoint a Business & Economics Teacher to teach across years 11, 12 & 13. The school are a co-educational day and boarding school for 11 - 18 yrs and pride themselves on being one of the best in the East Midlands. They are committed to student achievement in all aspects of their school life.

Your new role

You will be a Business and Economics Teacher, preferably an Economics specialist, teaching key stages 4 and 5 across years 11, 12 and 13. You will be required to plan, mark and assess all work completed by all students. You will be a passionate Educator with all focus on equipping students with confidence and life skills to build inquisitive mindsets to question and challenge.

The post is currently a part time timetable across 6 days per week, from Mon to Sat morning. The timetable can be negotiable.


What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will be a PGCE / QTS / QTLS qualified Teacher, most ideally an Economics specialist, preferably with a degree in Economics, and with experience teaching both Business and Economics across key stages 4 and 5 (across years 11, 12 & 13).

You will be passionate to contribute to the schools outstanding performance and be a contributor to their very positive Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) reports.
