The Company

The Position

Reporting to the COO based in India the UK GIS Sales Manager will have the following responsibilities to:

·Own the GIS division sales and achieve sales/revenue targets assigned for UK market.

·Align with the organizational business goals.

·Be instrumental in devising and implementing the strategies for meeting assigned sales target.

·Create and maintain a healthy sales funnel and monitor the same regularly and channelize the sales effort required on priority cases

·Ensure all sales activities are in accordance with the guidelines of the company’s code of conduct.

·Focus on selling products/services specific to client requirements and try to minimize the sales cycle.

·Create, negotiate and close commercial agreements

·Build relationships with existing clients and new prospects to understand their current and future investment plans

·Discuss and consult with other stake holders on latest trends with a view to introduce innovative products or solutions for the verticals

·Identify new opportunities for sales campaigns, participate in trade shows/exhibitions that can lead to increased sales

·Identify and build channel partners to be able to collaborate in key strategic initiatives/opportunities

·Prepare realistic sales and revenue forecast for the respective products/services (based on the historical data, market trends, competition, and sales effort), realistic costs of operating sales and promotional plans.

·Follow the system of reports and communications involving sales reports, meetings etc

·Recruit, train, develop, supervise and evaluate the team members.

·Work in sync with offshore/delivery team.

·Own the GIS sales process in relation to organizational certifications, (ISMS, ISO, CMMI)

The Candidate

Candidates should have a University degree in Geospatial, geography and 5 to 10 years relevant experience in the GIS and BPMS industry. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team with energy and enthusiasm. Excellent communication skills both written and oral are required along with excellent interpersonal skills for relationship building particularly as it relates to professional Peers.
