Head of Finance - Bridging lender

Salary £40,000 - £80,000


We are looking for an experienced Head of Finance to join our team! You will be in a key senior management role reporting to the MD,

Main responsibilities in this role include:

Must have

- Loan experience in either secured loans, bridging loans, or consumer credit - all three would be preferable

- A key understanding / experience in Interest and the various types of interest types

- A key understanding / experience of accounts and book keeping and Loan Book Management

- A key understanding / experience of debt collections and redemptions

Ensuring our strategic and commercial development through identifying and delivering the strategic milestones.

Head of Finance Responsibilities

Support the Directorates in the preparation of budgets and financial reportsContribute to the achievement of the company objectives by providing advice and guidance on financial strategy.Oversee and continuously improve all accounting procedures and systems used by the Company.Advise and support Directors and Senior managers to keep them informed and offer direction.Review reports and analyse projections against actual figures and suggests methods of improving the planning process.Ensure the Company meets its financial and legal responsibilities.Risk Management MonitoringFinancial reportingEstablish a robust on ongoing learning and development environment including regular communications, induction, learning and process improvementContinuously improve the systems and policies in the team to ensure waste is minimised and value to the business is optimised
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required to apply:

Ability to demonstrate an understanding of fast moving market driven sales and financial service environments and an in-depth understanding of complex business processes, preferably with large PLC involvement.Must have a complete working knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional.Knowledge of ERP operating systems - preferably Microsoft AXKnowledge within the Bridging world
