A new job opportunity for an experienced and passionate .Net MVC Developer to join an international online company in their Bath office on a permanent basis. The organisation is expanding its UK and overseas markets and as such the development team is also growing to support the needs of this hugely successful online business. Your new role
As a .Net Developer you will report into the Technical Lead, working as part of a small but growing team of Front End and .Net Developers. You will liaise closely with internal and external stakeholders and be undertake development of multiple web site and applications through the full software lifecycle. You'll be a natural problem solver, and be encouraged to think innovatively, working with your colleagues in a collaborative environment designing cutting edge features in existing and new applications. You'll also look at continuous improvement, ultimately helping drive a user and customer focused approach to deliver the best experience and products in a competitive market.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have hands on commercial experience as a .Net Developer using MVC frameworks, working on multiple web applications, in an Agile environment. You will have excellent understanding and practical experience of development best practice and key software engineering principles, with good knowledge of source control e.g. Git and SQL. You are technically very capable, really passionate and driven about coding, always striving to work to your best ability and taking great pride in your work. Your communications and interpersonal skills are excellent, being comfortable communicating at all levels with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are interested in learning new skills and in new technology, keeping yourself up to date with advances, new languages and concepts. If you have any experience of or an interest in open source technologies this would be an advantage.
