Our Corporate Marketing team is building the Aviva brand for businesses of all sizes, from large multi-national corporates to local SMEs to tech start-ups.

As a marketing team, our goal is to make Aviva the number one B2B financial services brand in the UK. To do that, we need the most creative thinkers, the strongest strategists and the savviest planners. In short, we need the best marketers in the country to join our team.

What’s the job?

You’ll be working as a manager in the corporate brand and strategy team.

This team leads our marketing strategy and plans for our large corporate business customers, identifying key priorities to develop new business and keep our current customers.

The team shapes our brand positioning and creative direction for our corporate business audiences, defining our marketing strategy to cross-sell to our existing customers with our multi-product offering.

The team will focus on:

Brand positioning - creation of the business brand creative and positioning ‘Why Aviva for business’ for large corporatesStrategy and planning - creation, monitoring and re-planning of the overarching UK workplace segment led marketing strategy and plansComposite opportunities - identification and definition of all large corporate composite opportunitiesCreation and delivery of composite campaigns and ongoing corporate engagementPermissions - creation of the permissions strategy across all corporate audiences (large corporate and corporate intermediaries)Duties and responsibilities

If you get this job, you’ll be:

Developing the Aviva UK business brand positioning and creative, by bringing it to life for the large corporates and their employeesDefining and delivering all large corporate multi-product opportunities to align to our business objectivesDeveloping and delivering campaigns and ongoing customer engagement strategiesWorking with the planning and performance team to create multi-channel marketing strategies and take-to-market plans for large corporates and their intermediariesWorking closely with the marketing teams to develop and deliver a customer-segmented UK corporate marketing strategy and plan, which demonstrates our investment against key business prioritiesFocusing on complex projects across all marketing channels and providing support for other team membersSkills and experience

Strong knowledge and experience of multi-channel marketingExperience of end-to-end marketing delivery with proven personal ownership of campaignsStrong experience of identifying and leading innovative marketing activityProven track record for communications delivery, on time and to budgetExcellent planning and proactive stakeholder managementStrong understanding of key marketing metrics and focus on trading performanceChallenges respectfully and comfortablyStrong planning and proactive stakeholder managementDeep understanding of workplace market (particularly large corporates)Broad understanding of life, general insurance and health insurance markets and a deep understanding of the products and their relevance for SME and large corporate customersUnderstanding of marketing planning processesExcellent understanding of Aviva processesPractical and theoretical understanding of marketing performance levers and framework including experience in analysing marketing performance across the following categories:Direct responseB2BBrand / ATLOperational (NPS etc)Inquisitive and creative with a passion for the customerCreates energy and direction towards key prioritiesChallenges respectfully and comfortablyCommercial, analytical and numerateGood negotiating and influencingQualifications
