Planning Enforcement Officer

The client is looking to pay between £23-£33 per hour for the right candidate dependant on experience and planning/enforcement knowledge. This roles main responsibilities will consist of:
- To be able respond to, investigate and resolve complaints and allegations into planning and to handle straightforward complexity planning applications and appeals case work and to also undertake straightforward/overlapping Building Control enforcement matters including site visits and also to liaise and co-operate with staff from other departments or agencies both inside and outside the service,
- To carry out site visits in a safe and effective manner and be able to draft letters, memoranda, reports and other documents.
- To contribute to the preparation of and serve summons, enforcement, breach of condition, planning contravention and stop notices.
