Baltic Training and ITD Software are delighted to be recruiting for a Software & Web Development Apprentice to join their team based in Hazel Grove, Stockport. With an array of experience in software development, programming and commercial solutions, ITD Software are now seeking new talent to bring fresh ideas to their talented team.

You will be working alongside existing staff and be mentored and trained to carry out the following duties:

  • Working directly with the senior developers and designers to add functionality to existing systems
  • Provide essential maintenance on current systems
  • Create and update client databases
  • Work with other team members to improve workflow and processes
  • Basic software testing

Training to be provided:

  • Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Software & Web Development
  • Level 3 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence
  • Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Systems and Principles
  • Level 2 Functional Skills (English, maths and ICT)

Skills and qualifications required:

  • 5 GCSE's A-C grades, including Math's and English.
  • Passion for Software and Web Development.
  • Experience with HTML, JAVA and CSS would be beneficial.
  • Hardworking
  • Enthusiastic

The future is bright
Upon completion of the 12 month programme, there are real progression opportunities available. Along with your employer, you may decide to progress onto our level 4 programme and take your training even further.

Salary, hours and benefits

  • £132.00 per week
  • Full time (35 Hours per week)

Location and travel
This role is located in Hazel Grove, Stockport and is easily accessible via all major public transport routes.
