This is a key role in helping to maintain existing General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable data and systems integrity and to drive forward system best practices, therefore enhancing the user's experience. This person would provide insight and recommendations to ensure optimum usage of systems functionality whilst assisting with the reporting and reconciliation requirements of the business. As the Finance Systems Administrator, your duties will include: - Ownership and control of the Fusion Financials Chart of Accounts, including approval of additions, Cross validation rules and control of hierarchies. - Assistance with the monitoring and control of the period end system processes including the period end timetable, reconciliations, and data loads. - Responsible for analysing, reporting and testing System and reporting defects, enhancements, and new versions. - Developing N Brown knowledge bank of Fusion Financials reporting, through the understanding of seeded reports and the development of bespoke reports and assisting with the production of reports for use by the wider Finance and Procurement teams, across all ledgers and currencies. - Assistance with the co-ordination between Fusion Financials and other Fit 4 Future project releases that interface with the general ledger and utilise the General Ledger and Chart of accounts. - Monitoring and investigating of regular system interface file activity to ensure smooth processing of data between Financial Systems and third party platforms. To be a successful Finance Systems Administrator you will have the following skills and experience: - AAT or part qualified accountant or desire to undertake this or a similar qualification. - Experience of working within a similar environment with exposure to systems and processes is essential. - An analytical and inquisitive mind with the ability to understand and investigate processes and make suggestions/ recommendations from findings. - The ability to liaise with Finance System users throughout the business, at all levels, to enhance the user experience. - Understanding of the General Ledger, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger and Tax configurations. - Previous experience within a similar role. - Self-sufficient and well organised. - Experience of using Oracle Fusion Financials is advantageous. - A highly motivated individual with a passion for process streamlining and improvement. - Excellent Microsoft Excel skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
