Job Title: PHP Developer Location: North Yorkshire Rate: £300 - £350 p/day A major Client of ours is currntly looking for a contract PHP Developer to join their team on a contract basis of around 3 months initially. They are a rapidly growing and there will be room to progress within this business. Current Dynamics - Technologies Web sites (legacy and production, in-house PHP/Zend) Reporting (legacy, Google Docs) Scales (Butchersapp) Google Docs/Mail/Analytics (variety of uses) Messaging systems (Whatsapp etc) Bronto (Marketing) Zendesk (Customer Support) Future Ambition - Technologies Web site (Customer Hub (Ecomm & Trade) / Trade Platform / Subscriptions / One Click Purchasing / Order Tracking ) Reporting (Suit Req / Cutting Sheets / Retention & Loyalty programmes / ) Live Reporting (in fridge Ipad - instance updates) Product Scanning Traceability installed within the platform for stock control The most significant technology problem is an holistic/cohesive overview of how technology is supporting or hindering the business and is perhaps a result of the business changing over the prior 24 months. Legacy System developed for a business that has since outgrown it. Applications and database silos (data duplicated and not communicating) Inadequate traceability & tracking to consumers / trade orders / accounts. Significantly growing and demanding trade business.
