About the role As the team is growing, we are looking for someone with a real passion for mobile development to join our diverse but tight-knit group of dedicated people, working in an agile environment. You will be helping implement features into our iOS platform and assist with maintenance across the whole codebase. You will be exposed to UI, networking, data persistence as well as opportunities to work on our simulation engine. The existing iOS and Android apps have garnered rave reviews from US healthcare institutions and media including TechCrunch, The Guardian, and the FT, and the platform is already generating substantial revenues, with over 2 million downloads. We have recently decided to rewrite our app using the latest technologies. (Swift 3.0/RxSwift, MVC/MVVM) We are currently in public beta, with the release planned over the next few months. We will then be continuing development of many exciting features to help surgeons learn their trade. About You - 2 years' experience in commercial iOS development. - At least 1 iOS app live on the App Store. - Working experience with Swift. - Demonstrable use of Unit testing/TDD - Expert in Xcode. - Strong knowledge of connected technologies including HTTP, REST, JSON, databases. - Strong knowledge of version control systems (git, Perforce). We would like you to have, but not essential. - Knowledge of Realm and Reactive/Functional Programming an advantage.
