Lift/Escalator Maintenance and Installation Engineer Training 2000 is an 'Amazing Place with Amazing People'. We are part of the UCLan group and one of the largest Group Training Associations in England, with over 50 years' experience of delivering high quality training programmes to industry and individuals. We are recruiting for a new candidate to work within the Company's Engineering department for a trainer/assessor specific to lift and escalator engineering to cover the London area. About the Role: This role will be based from home, however the successful candidate will be working on a national basis but predominantly in the Londonarea. The successful candidates will primarily be responsible for the assessment and management of apprentices. This role will be supporting apprentices employed by "OTIS Lifts" You will assess the competence of each of your apprentices to recognized accredited standards for lift/escalator construction and maintenance. Requirements: Applicants must have completed a recognised Engineering Apprenticeship Experience within the lift/escalator industry is crucial for a candidate to be successful in this role. A relevant assessing qualification is advantageous but not essential. The successful candidate will need to complete assessor training during a probation period. You need to be committed, passionate and driven to deliver the company's objective of an Amazing place with Amazing people! The position requires a self-motivated and effective team player who possesses excellent communication and organisational skills. Terms and Conditions: This rolewill include a pre-paid travel card to cover travel expenses across the London area. The working hours for this role are 37.5 per week; 8.00am to 4.45pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 12.30pm on Fridays, with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break Monday to Thursday.
