Field Service Engineer – Alarm Systems
Belfast (office/field based, covering mainly Northern Ireland and also ROI)

As an electrical engineering company, our client boasts over 40 years of experience in the electrical and electronics industry as well as in-depth expertise in the alarm and support system sector. An opportunity has now arisen for a Field Service Engineer to join their team.

With great training and an in-depth induction on offer, you’ll find you are equipped with all the skills you need to succeed within your role. What’s more, you’ll join a team of talented engineers and technicians who will ensure you are supported in every aspect of your role.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be tasked with supporting fire alarm systems and other security-based products across Northern Ireland and ROI.

You’ll be undertaking installations, maintenance and repairs on the systems supported by our client and will discover a varied workload. This will include a wide range of projects, different size of system and the chance to work alone and as part of a team.

Once your training is competed, you will take part on a rota to cover out-of-hours call-outs.

To be considered, you must have:

- At least three years’ experience gained within an installation, service or commissioning role on fire detection electrical and/or electronic equipment
- A full driving license

As a Field Service Engineer, you must have a good working knowledge of windows 7 or above, MS Office, including Excel. Good communication and team working skills are also key, as is the ability to work unsupervised on your own.
