Job Description Currently seeking a bright, motivated and experience individual for a Developer Apprentice role within an exciting and extremely forward thinking company, based in Exeter, Marsh Barton. The apprentice preferably should have had a year's MVC with C# experience and be looking at furthering their IT Software career. Duties/ Responsibilities - Deal with escalated support calls from the first line team - Assist with all aspects of the continuing development of our in house CRM - Fully document all changes or new developments to the CRM - To actively and positively promote Pluss, its vision and values at all times - To include targeted marketing activities such as networking, attendance at events and public relations activity in line with the Pluss Marketing Strategy - Uphold safeguard and promote the organisations values and philosophy relating particularly to ethics, integrity, corporate, social responsibility, equal opportunities and diversity as referenced in the company policy and values standards - Responsibility to act on any issues of concern in relation to Safeguarding Adults and Children - This requires adhering to and acting on Pluss policies and procedures - Uphold and comply with Data Protection and confidentiality standards Qualities / essential requirements: - A good communicator - Interested in application development - Passionate about learning and understanding complex subjects - Any commercial experience would be an advantage, but is not essential - Knowledge of Visual Studio - Experience of MVC Application development using C#, .Net Framework, HTML, SQL, XML, JQuery - Any software development qualifications or training experience an advantage - Commitment to develop and implement equal opportunities policy and anti-discriminatory practices in employment and service delivery - Ability to work within Corporate Policy, Procedures and Health & Safety legislation - Ability to carry out the duties of the job with reasonable adjustments when necessary - Ability to meet the mobility requirements of the job Other requirements - Eligible to Work in UK status Desired Qualifications - Must have completed a Level 3 Software Development Apprenticeship with QA, a matching qualification with another training provider or any Level 3 Software qualification Other information Working week - 37 hours a week, 9am - 5pm Monday to Thursday, And on Friday from 9am - 4:30pm, with a 1 hour lunch Benefits - 23 days holiday, plus bank holidays, plus birthday - Matched salary sacrifice pension scheme of up to 6% contribution Important Information "QA's apprenticeship programmes may be funded in part by the European Union through the European Social Fund, which supports the development of employment opportunities and a skilled workforce."
