Configuration & Data controller (Airborne Solutions) Broughton Summary of Role: The Configuration/Data controller will be responsible for the coordination, control and verification of all A/C associated documentation for each input and output. The role will be responsible, but not limited to the following activities. This role will report primarily to the Manufacturing Assurance Engineer while also supporting the planning engineering team as and when required. Main Duties: Upon release of technical data via the planning dept. Create and release the required data pack work instructions, record on the planning data base and release to the maintenance organisation. Maintain configuration control of the subsequent data pack during the embodiment phase of the activity. Planning ticket/Task cards - ensure all maintenance activities have been completed as per the associated work order. All planning tickets have been completed fully with all signatories correct, tooling recorded, all parts removed and installed have relevant completed paperwork and all open items closed (EELLS). Once completed all A/C documentation including work orders, mods, planning documents, tech log forms etc is scanned and archived in appropriate folders. Produce a maintenance summary statement documenting all maintenance activities carried out on the A/C. Ensure all serialised parts that are removed and installed on the A/C are recorded and supplied to the part M prior to A/C output. Upon completion of a planning ticket and once checked complete configuration activities on the planning database. Configuration control of all 145 organisational processes and procedures within the Quality Management System. Responsible for the control and updating of all documentation. General IPT support as and when required Candidate Requirements: Experience in Maintenance and Quality related activities within an EASA Part 145 Maintenance facility. Excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills. Essential Human Factors Training Candidate must have good organization skills and be able to work under pressure. Desirable Previous experience in Aerospace Configuration Control Eligible for or Holder of current SC security clearance (RSL will sponsor as required).
