A market leading retailer based in Welwyn Garden City are currently recruiting for an Oracle Support Analyst to join them on a twelve-month contract basis.

As the Oracle Support Analyst, you will be providing support to the HSC Team who manage the system administration tasks, with first line support of Oracle 11i applications.

The key responsibilities of the Oracle Support Analyst are:
** Receive/log, prioritise and resolve all issues/problems using the Technology ticketing system
**Assist the HSC team with support for Oracle Fusion applications as they are deployed
** System configuration, as required, for the Source to Contract application, including documentation of all the additional configuration performed
** Analyse Oracle patches to be applied at periodic intervals
** Analyse the impact when upgrading Fusion to newer versions e.g. R12 to R13
** Support the period-end close process
** Ensure controls, segregation of duties and logical access are appropriate and regularly reviewed
** Monitor key controls and support internal and external auditors
** Provide end-user training, host drop-in clinics and workshops where necessary

To be successful in this Oracle Support Analyst position it is essential that you:
** Possess experience in providing functional support for Oracle 11i and Oracle Fusion
** Have experience with P2P
** Have a proven track record of influencing and managing stakeholders

Desirable requirements for the successful Oracle Support Analyst are:
** Qualified Accountant
