Are you interested in joining our new Knitwear and Jersey team?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and conscientious Assistant Technologist for our Fashion team, where you will provide the Technologist with administration support to ensure products can be delivered to the stores to the agreed fit and quality levels. You will provide administrative support for the critical path and sealing process to achieve critical dates and meet delivery deadlines, keep accurate records, ensure information is up to date and maintain the fit room to a tidy and high standard. Other duties include chasing suppliers for samples and highlighting delays or concerns to the Technologist, and responsibility for approving selected second blue seals, green seals and white seals, as delegated by the Technologist.

You will need to have at least 3 years of relevant experience. You will have proven experience and knowledge in knitwear and jersey garment construction and sealing procedures, as well as fabric quality standards. Experience in fabric test reports and fitting garments is essential. Ideally you will be educated to degree level, and you will possess basic knowledge of garment construction and pattern technology.

You will be a team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills, PC literate and have attention to detail. You will also be organised and able to meet constantly moving deadlines.
