Title: Head of eCommerce Location: Cardiff Salary: £100k-£125k + Package An exciting and fast paced leading retailer with an energetic environment are seeking to secure an experienced Head of eCommerce, they're growing rapidly and aim to be a leading fashion multi-channel retailer as they grow across multiple channels but retain their core company principles and values. Due to the size and nature of this role you will need a minimum of 5 years' experience with retail eCommerce and previous experience of managing multiple eCommerce sites and business required. This will include the management of online concession businesses and in-house and external development teams and resources. You will also need experience at senior management level within a fast-paced retail environment and managing Online Marketing channels. As an experienced Head of eCommerce you will be responsible for delivering a compelling and competitive eCommerce proposition for all the group online brands. Working across the group you will execute and deliver the strategy to deliver sales and operating profit as agreed with the board of Directors across the Group and through concession partners. As the Head of eCommerce you will be tasked with driving the eCommerce and multi-channel development and roadmap implementation while making a proactive contribution to the group senior management and trading teams. - Full P&L responsibility for the group online business - Report and analyse eCommerce performance to continuously optimise and grow the business - Provide reporting and analysis on the eCommerce business to the group senior management and trading teams with improvement plans - Responsible for management of the global eCommerce platform development, support and user experience - Define the Group global eCommerce strategy and development and provide expertise as required - Identify key technologies and improvements to the user experience and conversion funnel - Responsible for managing 3rd party supplier relationships including 3PL, development agencies, marketing agencies and infrastructure - Responsible for leading, developing and supporting the eCommerce trading managers to ensure consistent and high-quality merchandising, marketing, promotion and delivery of each brand - Responsible for managing and trading online concession relationships including House of Fraser, Debenhams and Amazon - Responsible for management of UK eCommerce team including Online Marketing, Content and Trading, Projects and Development, Customer Services and Operations - Responsible for managing and improving the group customer care teams (internal) providing support for multichannel customers and the wider business as a whole - Responsible for management of key internal relationships to support the eCommerce business including but not limited to IT, Marketing, Merchandising and HR teams Key Projects: - Lead the development roadmap for the Group - Support international expansion of all brands - Optimise and oversee implementation to drive OMS/WMS improvements to deliver best-in-class customer delivery proposition Experience of launching eCommerce businesses internationally and working within a complex global structure would be desirable, along with experience of working with Magento and overseeing and launching CRM/loyalty projects and technology. You will be an organised and driven individual who is able to manage multiple stakeholders, projects and developments at one time. You will have full ownership of the P&L, including budget proposals and ensuring delivery of the budgets on a weekly basis. The role encompasses both technical and strategic abilities, ideally suited to a candidate who has previous technical knowledge of infrastructure and web development with a strong history of commercial strategy and trading knowledge. Bridging both roles, you will be expected to lead and develop the trading managers of each brand whilst project managing the roadmap and planning future strategic deployments and developments. Experience with WMS and ERP systems is beneficial as well as a basic knowledge or experience of B2C logistic fulfilment.
