Service Desk Analyst - Farnborough Permanent position **Due to the urgent nature of this role, candidates must currently hold SC Clearance** Do you have excellent customer service skills? In Farnborough they support a number of MOD/Defence customers on mission-critical programmes. What will you be doing? You will provide first and second line technical support on a global scale. Using your exceptional communication skills, you will deal with a range of requests and problems. You will undertake analysis, diagnosis and proactively drive incidents through to effective resolution. The role will involve: * Answering queries around hardware, software, network & telecommunications systems * Support internal and external customers to diagnose IT problems * Use the existing database records to diagnose and resolve issues - escalating where necessary What will my background be? It is important that you possess a good working knowledge of Microsoft operating platforms including Windows, physical & cloud-based services, WAN and LAN hardware and basic configuration. Ideally you will hold some or all of the following qualifications - Microsoft MTA or MCSA; Juniper; and Dell. You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of ITIL processes and their importance in a support environment with specific consideration for incident, problem, request, change and release management. You will have experience of Virtualisation (e.g. VMware, MS Hyper-V) and Enterprise Storage (e.g. Netapp, Dell Compellent) **Due to the urgent nature of this role, candidates must currently hold SC Clearance** Advanced Resource Managers IT Limited operates & advertises as an Employment Agency for permanent positions and as an Employment Business for contract/temporary positions.
