MAIN PURPOSE OF THE TECHNICALTRAININGENGINEER ROLE - Provide support to Technical Training Lead - Provide training to Sales and Service Teams as directed - Aid the Development & Delivery of Technical Service Training to Market Organisations, Distributors, Internal Teams (Sales & Service) and End Customers - Provide technical support to internal and external customer KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Assist the Technical Training Lead with the following: - Implement structured training programs ensuring that statutory training requirements are met - Aid the Development of Regional Training Centres, Key MOs (local training engineers) and Sales teams - Liaise and develop relationships with Sales to ensure the Sales Training is scheduled and performed to the correct requirements at Regional Centres (operational and selling skills) - Keeping training materials up to date and distributed within the company (including e-learning) - PI product aware for Solution Selling including Sales Force Guidance awareness - Be a conduit for feedback from both Sales and Service to Service / Training Management personnel Secondary Role will include: - Help Training Lead solve specific training issues using training analysis. - Train local trainers (sales and service) in techniques and skills for training and dealing with trainees - Work with colleagues to increase the level of service to customers - Work with colleagues to increase the level of training to sales teams - Contribute to product testing to ensure and harmonise product test at Regional Centres - Answering and assisting customer's technical requests via telephone, email or post - Provide a responsive and courteous service to all customers. Necessary to develop a strategy to disseminate information from customers - Take an active part in providing 24/7 support by telephone to MO staff in an emergency - Assist the technical team to design out flaws in our products through ' real life experience' feedback including manuals and guidance materials - Assist our customers with breakdowns and installation of the machines Qualifications or Functional Experience required - Experience working in a technical support role - Experience as a trainer, coach and mentor - Administrative skills - Previous experience of working in a field support role - Eng. Tech qualified (electronics biased) - Degree qualified in Training or Management discipline Skills, Knowledge, Experience required - IT literate with experience of standard MS Office tools - Demonstrates a high standard of professional and organisational competences - Knowledge and exp. Within the MT environment. This role will require some international travel
