DrEd Online Doctor is looking to hire a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our mission to become the number one online healthcare company in the world, delivering a wide range of internal and user facing applications through our award-winning platform. You'll be joining a team of 18 experienced Front and Back-End Developers - this is a great opportunity to develop your skills in a growing, friendly development team. You will work closely with our Marketing, UX, Clinical and Product teams on enhancing our existing product offering as well as new projects. You will be experienced in writing strong object-oriented PHP code and Javascript. You think automated testing, source control and design patterns are the cat's pyjamas and will relish the chance to work in a small team with high standards and considerable freedom. You will likely > - Develop and improve our bespoke, secure clinical management system, our API and a range of websites - Work within an agile environment with regular releases - Maintain and continuously improve our code base so that it is well architected and optimised - Work alongside Marketing, UX, Clinical and Product teams to help with user improvements and testing across multiple applications - Contribute to our product development plans & company strategy - Actively lead code reviews within the team Your Experience > - A degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Maths or related discipline - At least 5+ years experience in commercial software development - Experience with building LAMP web applications - Linux, (OOP) PHP, Javascript (we like AngularJS), AJAX, HTML5, Apache and MySQL - Strong knowledge of TDD best practices and experience working in an Agile environment with regular releases is a must - Experience with at least one MVC framework - RESTful API development and consumption - Experience with user-facing products or services - Be highly motivated to learn within a highly collaborative, demanding environment - Actively interested in current / new technologies in order to offer alternative solutions and tools to enhance our applications It's a bonus if you have - Experience implementing best practice or processes, code reviews and mentoring developers - Experience working in a fast paced startup Who are we though? - We're DrEd.
