Digital Marketing Assistant: Our in house marketing team are a fast moving, busy sector of the company and are advertising for a new marketing assistant looking to start or further a career in a sales and marketing role. The job would include a wide range of marketing activities all with the goal to improve customer communications, improve brand awareness and ultimately increase company sales. The role will include: Content Writing: * The creation of content for product marketing such as website product pages, blog posts, advice articles and sales documents. * Writing project case studies for use on company websites. * Generating new and exciting content ideas for our various blog platforms and websites. Creating various marketing materials including technical information sheets and internal training documents in line with company branding. Email Marketing: * Creating and managing the company email marketing calendar. Designing and writing marketing emails for all brands. * Database management for all marketing lists including subscription forms and automated email chains. * Generating new ideas for our email marketing strategy. Press Relations: * Creating regular press releases for all brands. * Liaising with journalists and editors and providing relevant content for publication upon request. These publications regularly include Grand Designs, Living Etc, Real Homes and similar residential design magazines. * Maintaining good working relationships with our network of journalist and magazine editors. Team Work: Above all the marketing department at IQ works as a team. You may be required to assist or help with any area of the company marketing strategy and work to explore new marketing avenues and to increase our brand awareness. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to experience a wide range of marketing and sales activities in a modern and vibrant work setting. Written + IT Skills: Writing content is a large part of this job role. Applicants will be required to have an excellent grasp of the English language with first class written skills. You should also have experience in creating and editing documents in various Microsoft programs such as Publisher, Word and Excel. Assimilating Information: Many of the companies within The IQ Group work with the building trades, our marketing literature is therefore quite technical. You should be able to assimilate information from external sources for use in our own technical sales documents and website pages.
