Our client is a well established independent financial planning business within Surrey Purpose of role: To provide comprehensive administrative support to advisers and paraplanners. Working with two advisers and one paraplanner within a team environment. Accountabilities: - Manage the administration workflow - Develop, consistently implement and review processes - Receive and implement requests from advisers and paraplanners - Register and utilise appropriate extranets/websites and other forms of e-business - Maintain up to date client files and data using our back-office database, Intelliflo - Maintain up to date records on our document management system - Obtain plan information from providers - Process and track new business applications - Prepare and issue Letters of Authority and track responses - Invoice preparation - Liaise with clients and providers - Operate within the compliance and corporate standards of the business - Undertake appropriate professional development and training - Report on key measures on a regular basis Skills, knowledge and experience: - Previous experience in an IFA environment or similar financial background is essential - Some group pensions administration experience may also be useful - Interpersonal - team working and communicating with clients remotely - Proactive, willing to continue to develop, enthusiastic - Highly organised, methodical, disciplined and meticulous - Ability to prioritise - Computer literate - Outlook, Word, Excel - Excellent keyboard skills
