Job Description We are currently looking for a creative, methodical and passionate Apprentice Web Developer to join an award-winning advertising, design and digital agency based in Glasgow City Centre. Key Responsibilities: As an apprentice web developer you will be working across a broad spectrum of clients where your duties will involve but not be limited to; - Working on live client sites - Creating bespoke, customer built websites - Conducting focus groups - Working collaboratively with designers to fulfill client briefs - Updating existing clients on progress - Dealing with existing client fixes The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of; - WordPress Development - HTML & HTML5 - CSS & CSS3 - PHP - MySQL - Javascript and jQuery However full training and support will be provided. Required Skills: The successful candidate will have the desire to learn and a real passion for a career web development - Customer focused, ability to listen to and understand the customers' needs - Good verbal and written communication skills - You work very well in a team and enjoy helping others - You will be friendly and approachable - Have the ability to cope with multiple problems in a calm and professional manner - Precision, professionalism, perfectionism Important Information "QA's apprenticeship programmes may be funded in part by the European Union through the European Social Fund, which supports the development of employment opportunities and a skilled workforce."
