You'll also know how to implement and brief our development team on technical changes, and be able to work with SEO agency/internal teams to deliver content that is engaging, relevant and effective. Responsibilities as our Senior SEO Manager: - Developing, scoping and delivering the SEO strategy for ************** - Generating efficient sales and margin through natural search traffic in line with targets - Implementing the requirements from the technical audit i.e. redirects, canonical tags, removing duplicate content, - improving site speed, image compression, link reclamation, schema, etc. - Responsible for deep crawling the website and removing duplicate content, broken links, locating speed problems and fixing broken redirects - Website Infrastructure - making sure the site is developed within a controlled SEO friendly way - Improving internal linking and maximising page authority - Industry awareness - is constantly up to date with algorithmic updates and updating key stakeholders - Understanding the effects and counter measures for Google algorithm updates - Working with the Acquisition Teams to maximize strategies across paid channels and SEO - Developing and managing on-site SEO specific content with a focus on strengthening Domain and Page Authority - Working with the Digital Product Team and Head of Content to make sure structure and content is fully optimised to maximise traffic - Working with Social on optimising channel content and to maximise social signals: YouTube, FB, Twitter, etc. - Making sure the seeding and outreach of content is achieved and within the right environments - Optimising partner pages to maximise traffic benefit to ************** - Ensuring seeding and PR strategies are aligned (off site) - Working with PR to make sure all press releases are optimized on site - Developing relationships with key stakeholders to encourage and educate best practice for SEO - Integrating with the wider team and agencies to fulfil the SEO strategy - Tracking outreach - Delivering Reports To become our Senior SEO Manager, you will have the below skills and experience: - Proven SEO experience with a focus on performance SEO (driving Sales/Revenue) - University level education or equivalent professional SEO qualification - Ability to lead the SEO strategy, planning, development, implementation and optimization - A history of technical competence - Working with SEO agency and in-house teams to deliver relevant content and improve site structure - Experience of running large SEO programmes in B2C verticals - especially within fast-paced environments - Good knowledge, use and understanding of SEO analytics software such as: Ahrefs, Majestic SEO, Moz, Search Metrics, SEM Rush, Google Analytics, Buzz Sumo and Search Console (or equivalent programmes) - Industry awareness - constantly up-to-date with algorithmic updates - Proven history of building business cases to external stakeholders - Evidence of having devised and executed against a clear strategy - Effective stakeholder management and relationship building skills - Strong commercial and digital focus - Confident in presenting and communicating - Ability to negotiate with the compliance team and other stakeholders to ensure clear customer communications are delivered - Results driven, self-motivated and have ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines - Enthusiastic, curious and able to work autonomously or within teams - Ability to manage and control budgets - Comfortable with analysing and interpreting reports and providing commercial updates to the business. - HTML, CSS and JavaScript (Desirable) - Previous insurance or financial industry experience (desired but not essential) Working for Vitality as a Senior SEO Manager, you'll experience an exciting mix of creativity and innovation, within a framework of challenging objectives and a passion for delivering the best.
