Business Intelligence Manager Our client a niche consultancy based in Warwickshire is currently looking to grow its business Intelligence team with the addition of a BI Manager. This role will Manage the Business Intelligence Team, supporting the Operational Project and Commercial Teams. Developing and delivering functional KPI's through their own actions and those of others. Reporting to the Finance Controller and involving interface with Board Directors, Client Directors, Project Managers and key senior stakeholders within clients and suppliers. Key accountabilities of the role: - Be the lead for the Business Intelligence function and role, ensuring data insight provision, independent review of project standards with management and development of the companies toolset & systems - Developing the functional KPI's with the FC annually to provide and cascade clarity of focus to the team across infrastructure development, operational process delivery, rigour and data sourcing. - Review and allocation of workload across the team to support Operational delivery - Management and development of business Intelligence Associates to ensure performance improvement via Reviews, ongoing feedback and facilitation of appropriate training Data: - Manage and verify the Business Analyst output to ensure work standards are maintained and internal client expectations are met. As appropriate, providing personal senior analyst support to key projects including: - Liaison with Client finance/ stakeholder teams to extract client data; - Analysis and production of accurate, insightful assessment of spend; - Support Category Leaders in the analysis of category specific data to formulate high quality baseline positions; - Prepare tender docs, tender analysis and benefit calculations to support opportunity identification. - Research and produce market/ competitor insights to keep Operations teams well informed of relevant trends. Presentation of such information supporting brand perception with clients. - Work closely with CFO/ Ops Director to determine systems development required to improve Operational Excellence and Team Efficiency through data and insight management Key skills and Experience: - You will be a Business Intelligence, Analytics or Insight professional who has experience of working with Procurement Analysts with relevant business experience - Demonstration of a rapidly progressing skillset and regular interaction with Director level stakeholders - Demonstration and experience of natural leadership traits including; clarity of vision; confident articulation of objectives; emotional intelligence and empathy with others; an ability to build strong relationships; self-assurance; natural resilience and a can-do character in the face of challenges - Show flexibility of style to enable successful management and engagement up & down the business - Be a self-starter with high personal quality standards looking to progress rapidly and experience a varied career - Huge desire to deliver outstanding results through themselves and their team - Sense of fun and a desire to ensure others enjoy working in a motivating environment For more information on this role please contact Dan Lamyman
