Are you an experience IT support Professional looking for your next job/vacancy/opportunity? My client is a rapidly growing and well established business based in Ipswich. They are seeking an experienced IT Support professional to join them and act as the sites It Support function. The position has significant autonomy and a broad spectrum of daily responsibilities. Job description: The post holder will be responsible for providing day to day technical support to all users ensuring company operations are fully functional at all times. Core duties: - Provide solutions for 1st and 2nd line IT requests ensuring minimal delay to user productivity - Ensure all requests are stored and logged correctly - Escalate request to the appropriate contact or higher level of IT support as required - Maintain, support and train staff on the business computer systems on an informal basis - Maintain and develop the company asset registry and knowledge registry - Install and configure printers, work stations, and software - Schedule hardware repairs - Assist with Active Directory issues and data entry - Involved with small It projects alongside management on an ad-hoc basis Core competencies: - Previous experience within a 2nd line IT Support position (essential) - Strong understanding of Microsoft products, including Active Directory and Office 365 (essential) - Ability to work in a faced passed environment autonomously (essential) - Familiar with problem finding and fault resolution with both hardware and software (essential) This position would be well suited for an experienced 2nd line IT support professional seeking a position within a small team and growing business able to work predominantly under your own direction with a variety of both hands on and remote support.
