A Billing Administrator is required by a leading construction business to coordinate the billing schedules and invoicing for all construction projects across the UK. The successful candidate will ideally be available to start in early October. You will work closely with the Operations Management team to establish billing schedules for all newly won projects, ensuring that each phase of each project is billed in an accurate and timely manner. You will also be responsible for drawing up all invoices (using MS Excel) and issuing these to clients. In addition, you will assist with ensuring successful project delivery by ordering materials when required to ensure project timeframes can be met, and by ensuring the accurate transfer of project information through to the operational teams. You will have strong experience in a similar administrative role and possess excellent customer service skills. In addition, you will ideally have previous billing / invoicing experience and will certainly have a good working knowledge of MS Excel, being confortable working with spreadsheets, formulas etc. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential. Any previous experience of working in a construction or maintenance business (or similar) would be advantageous but is not essential.
