We are a leader in providing Workplace Solutions globally. Some of our key categories are Office and Workplace products, including paper, filing, stationery as well as Hygiene & PPE supplies. This would be a great opportunity for an experienced Product Manager to expand your experience in both Product Management and Marketing, with a view to developing your career in a fast-paced growing business. You would join our centrally based Marketing department, at our Telford based Head Office. The salary is dependent on experience but ranges from£24k up to £35k with a 10% bonus and a corporate benefits package. The main aim of the role is to commercially develop a designated product area, managing a range of products and suppliers to achieve business goals and objectives. You will work alongside the Category Manager and act as a key stakeholder on the Product Management team, dealing with key projects such as pricing, strategy, catalogue production and product promotion through our Sales force and on-line. Additional key areas of responsibility include:- - Up to date knowledge of your market share, evolution & trends. - Defining the strategy on your product range in line with business goals. - Negotiate buying terms with key suppliers. - Optimise spending and maximise supplier?s contributions in line with Supplier performance programmes. - Annual catalogue production and input with fellow Marketing colleagues. - Handling pricing to meet turnover and margin goals. - Work in alliance with other Head Office departments to meet sales and business goals. To be considered for the position you will need:- - Experience as a Product Manager or similar roles working within a commercial business environment. - University degree is preferable, in Marketing, Economics or Business Administration. - Strong negotiator up to Stakeholder level. - To be analytical in approach with a strong attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills
