We're Advanced Advanced, the third largest software company in the UK and we currently have an exciting opportunity in our Cyber Security department. This role reports directly into the Head of Security and within our Group Security and Compliance function. We are not looking for experience; we are looking for potential, ambition and drive. The Team and Role You will be working as a Security and Compliance Support Officer, working within the wider security team. This includes Security Operations Analysts and a core management team. Your main responsibility will be to support the team in ensuring projects are on track, planning the budgets and updating procedure and policies. You will also have the task of ensuring our compliance programme and process is as effective as possible. The Requirements Main Purpose of Role: - Support the activities of the current Advanced security programme including - Project reporting - Budget planning - Policy writing - Team and customer meeting coordination - Develop the GDPR compliance programme across the Advanced Group by - Coordinating key resource schedules - Conducting business process reviews - Understanding information flows - Liaising with stakeholders including Board members, Data Protection Officer, functional Directors Other Duties: - Developing security and compliance reporting - Audit support - Manage document stores and lists About you: - A well organised, hardworking, pro-active team player with a desire to develop as a security professional - Friendly, personable and approachable - Confident and able to build internal relationships with other teams independently - Able to receive and work on constructive advice and feedback well - Experienced in improving processes and putting forwards new ideas to improve processes - Results driven, taking pride in achieving objectives - An accomplished relationship builder with a strong focus on exceptional customer service - Able to work effectively to tight deadlines and targets - Accomplished in organising and prioritising workload - Able to cope well under pressure - Looking for a challenging role in which they can develop personally and professionally in line with corporate objectives - Experienced working remotely Join the A Team Does this sound like the kind of role you are looking for?
