Application Support Analyst - Financial Services - London - £45,000 -£55,000 Are you an experienced Application Support Analyst now looking for your next role? Are you currently working in or looking to break into the world of private banking/financial services? They are an independent bank which offers a comprehensive range of private and commercial banking, wealth and investment management services. Joining this well respected organisation in the heart of the City, you will join their small Applications team where you will be supporting 3rd party applications/systems. You will be able to fix any application and systems issues that disrupt the application services along with assisting with the design and implementation of new systems. Responsibilities - - Work software vendors to resolve issues within the core banking platform. - Develop clear requirements and work with development team to deliver solutions - Testing and validation of changes and new developments. - Support applications as part of operational and help-desk processes. - Design business continuity plans Skills - - SQL 2005 / 2008 (including - DB admin, DB Design, Query writing, reporting services, SSIS etc.) - Full Software life-cycle knowledge - from requirement gathering through to design, development, testing and implementation - Experience of administering web servers (IIS) - Desirable -Experience of Oracle and Linux - Experience of Flexcube would be an advantage but not essential This is a great opportunity to join a growing private banking organisation which is well respected within the sector.
