Key Responsibilities You will lead, manage and promote all aspects of the IT Infrastructure and Support function, ensuring the smooth and effective delivery of all infrastructure design and management. You will also develop the technical roadmap for infrastructure, deliver infrastructure improvements and projects, manage departmental budgets and develop the team to deliver a sector leading service. - Implementation of all Infrastructure projects and creating technical roadmaps. - Delivery of Infrastructure Change through on premise and Cloud services. - Impeccable People Management - with 4 employees directly reporting to you. - Develop the IT Capability Maturity and maintain the IT Service Catalogue. - Develop, implement and continuously review support processes and procedures. - Primarily, build and lead the IT Infrastructure & Support team, mentor, coach and support all other IT professionals. - Be the point of escalation for complex issues higher than 3rd line support. - Act as a professional Business Partner, liaising with all Senior Business Managers and Directors. What is Essential? - Minimum 5 years' experience in an Infrastructure Management role with strong IT Management experience gained in an Infrastructure / Support environment. - Outstanding communication skills. - Hugely solid background in Infrastructure Management / Change Management. - Someone who is able to lead technical, hand-on colleagues on the company's technology stack, including: Windows, Linux, Solaris, Cisco (Essential), Office 365, Skype for Business and Azure/AWS. - Exceptional Financial Management. The salary for this Head of IT Infrastructure & Support role is up to £75k with an additional £6k car allowance.
