IT Support Analyst - Major Energy Developer This is an exciting opportunity to join a globally established, major energy developer on a permanent, full-time basis in fantastic offices in central London. Aim: To provide 1st and 2nd level technical support and guidance to Users on a regular basis ensuring all desktop systems, networked systems and telecommunication systems are functional and that agreed service levels are met. Responsibilities: - To manage desktop hardware and business software systems. - To manage and support Video facilities and telepresence systems. - To manage and support all Printing facilities liaising with 3rd Parties where required. - To plan, evaluate and propose improvements to desktop systems and provide extended support as and when required. - Assist local network installation projects, including cabling and patching. - Assist with network and server support and maintenance procedures. - Assist in the maintenance and administration of telephone systems. - Assist in local project implementations, such as technology refresh and rollouts and project work. - Respond to Helpdesk reported support cases - To maintain the Helpdesk system, recording appropriate information for fault incident and fault resolution. - Responding to Helpdesk reported change requests. - Support for ordering IT equipment and services to end users. - Escalating support calls as prescribed by the escalation procedure and within the service level agreements. - Carry out administrative duties - Provide support to remote office locations when required. - Seek continuing professional development and technology awareness. - Communicate and inform the local business about IT operational incidents. - Ensure timely delivery of IT hardware and software. - Office Moves & New Sites. Requirements: At least three years hands on experience of operating systems with particular emphasis on Windows 7/8.1 and Office 2010/2013/365 and Active Directory. * MS Windows 7 & 8.1 * MS Office 2010 & 2013 * PC Hardware configuration * LAN Infrastructure * Windows/Apple Mobile platform & devices * Windows printing and printer hardware
