Someone that loves to get things done while understanding how to build products that will stand the test of time. An engineer that wants to lead a team that is building tools that are used by surgeons and medical professionals around the globe. At Touch Surgery you will be working in a continuously integrated, continuously deployed environment, with a diverse range of people from around the world. You'll be working alongside data scientists, animators, 3d artists, and machine learning experts. We care about both the quality of what we're making and the quality of life of our team. As a lead of the Frontend Chapter, you'll be working to deliver our surgical content to millions of users and building the future products that will enable surgeons around the world to work more efficiently. Our frontend stack is React with Redux, Webpack, Babel, CSS Modules, Jest, Enzyme. About you - Experience with React + Redux. (or other modern frontend frameworks) - Good understanding of Javascript. (experience with ES6 syntax is a bonus) - Good understanding of CSS. (experience with CSS Modules is a bonus) - A broad knowledge of the web development (HTTP, performance, security. etc) - Knowledge of unit testing. - Good communication skills, able to collaborate with product owner, designers, and backend developers. - Experience working with teams to create highly performant and user-friendly RESTful services. - Experience building a maintainable web application with responsive UI. - Familiar and capable of managing relational databases. - Experience managing teams Why you should work for us.
