LOCATION: Winchester, (Old Alresford & Wolvesey Office) Hampshire JOB TITLE: Training Administrator / Events Administrator SALARY & BENEFITS: £18,354 pa plus 25 days holiday per year and 15% pension contribution WORKING HOURS: Full Time (35 hours per week) The post requires the post holder to regularly work evenings and weekends, dependant on need. Evening and weekend work will be considered part of the full time hours allocated to this role. They now seek an experienced and highly organised and efficient Training Administrator / Events Administrator with good IT skills to work a range of departments within the Diocese, where you will be based from our client's office's in Old Alresford, Wolvesey as well as different offices and locations around Winchester, Hampshire. Own transport is essential due to the different locations they will be working at. Founded in 676AD it is one of the five senior dioceses of the Church of England. The Diocese consists of about two thirds of the County of Hampshire and most of Bournemouth in the County of Dorset, excluding Portsmouth and the area immediately to its north and north-east. THE ROLE: As a Training Administrator / Events Administrator you will provide comprehensive support across the Diocesan Team in the arrangement and booking of key training events run across the Diocese each year, liaising with both delegates and trainers to ensure all events run smoothly and efficiently. You will carry out a wide range of admin tasks such as booking venues and setting up training events, promote advertise and encourage clergy and volunteers to attend necessary modules or courses, and update the Diocesan database, website, and online booking tools, to ensure an accurate record of attendance is kept for each and every event. This is a varied and exciting role and will carry with it a range of other admin tasks such as obtaining feedback forms and maintain personal training records and produce reports (regular and ad hoc) as requested by the training leads. **This is not an exhaustive list of duties - A full person specification can be obtained by clicking 'click to apply' THE CANDIDATE: The successful Training Administrator / Events Administrator must be a highly organised person with excellent communication skills both written and spoken, should have good numeracy skills and be able to manipulate numbers to a good standard. It is essential you have experience in a busy administrate role requiring you to multi task, and you are IT literate with experience using Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel. You should be someone who can work well using their own initiative whilst juggling a range of different tasks and remaining calm and efficient when under pressure. You must be a positive and polite person who has excellent interpersonal skills at all levels and can build relationships with colleagues and external contacts effectively. Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Training Administrator / Events Administrators role in Winchester, (Old Alresford & Wolvesey Office) Hampshire :- Previous experience in a busy admin role Must have use of own transport due to the different locations you will be working at Excellent communication, diplomacy and organisational skills essential Must be well educated and have excellent spoken/written skills in English Must have good numeracy skills Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel is essential Must be able to prioritise and manage workloads effectively to time lines Previous experience booking and arranging events would be an advantage Does this sound like you?
