Helpdesk Manager Are you a highly IT literate Customer Services Manager who is looking to head up a tight knit and positive team? Do you want to work within a company who offers true progression from within, in a supportive and cohesive environment in Reading? As a result of the current Helpdesk Manager taking promotion, one of our valued clients is looking to appoint a new Helpdesk Manager. The role Day to day you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 11 comprising a Helpdesk supervisor and 10 Helpdesk Operatives. The team is operative 24/7/365, and you will be critical in overseeing the general day to day running of this, as well as being actively involved in training, KPI/SLA management, appraisals and health and safety and recruiting new member of staff into the team. The person - You'll already be experience in customer service management, ideally within a helpdesk function within the FM industry - Experience with a CAFM system is highly desirable - there will be a lot of systems work including reporting, so you will at least have an in depth knowledge of working with a CRM systems - You'll be well organised and take responsibility for escalating and resolving any issues within pre-agreed Service Level Agreements What you'll get in return - A generous salary of £30,000 per annum - Hours are Monday - Friday, 9 - 5 although as the team works 24/7 we are looking for someone who is happy to take calls out of hours from the team, and if required go into the office to resolve any issues - this will be given back as time in lieu - The opportunity to work within an excellent organisation, with long standing contracts at one of their key sites, who lead the way for the rest of the organisation in terms of setting standards - Extra benefits which include childcare vouchers, cycle to work scheme, heavily subsidised gym membership and a discretionary Christmas bonus - You'll be reporting into the old post holder, with a long-standing supervisor reporting into you, so you'll get a great deal of support from both sides to quickly grasp the role.
