Are you an IT Software Trainer who enjoys working on a one to one basis and wants to help to enable disabled staff to operate a PC efficiently? Then this one could be for you. Our client have over 40 years' experience installing, training and supporting speech recognition solutions & assistive technology for a wide variety of companies across the UK. We currently have 6 Trainers across the South of the UK but due to our expansion and interest, we need a Trainer to help us with our Midlands clients. You will have the freedom and flexibility to work from home and travel to pre booked clients. The Role As the name suggests, your role will be to as an IT Software Trainer. You will be responsible for providing one to one (and occasionally group) assistive technology training (mainly in Dragon NaturallySpeaking and Texthelp, Read and Write) to our clients based around the UK (mainly in locations north of London and in the Midlands region). The Candidate Experience has shown us that good communication skills and the ability to adapt to any situation are paramount to being a proficient software trainer. You will need to be enthusiastic, innovative and empathetic; you will also need patience and persistence, as learning new skills can take time for clients with disabilities. Experience in the creation and delivery of user-specific programmes of one-to-one tuition to students with specific learning difficulties is also of interest. Previous experience with Assistive technology software knowledge/training including: Dragon NaturallySpeaking (speech recognition solutions), Read and Write (text-to-speech solutions) and mind mapping solutions would be extremely desirable.
