This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established IT services company, providing an outstanding IT and security service to a growing number of clients throughout London and beyond. The last 12 months has seen rapid growth of 30%, to continue this trend which is their plan for 2018 their strategy is to refocus service delivery to drive improved efficiency, enhanced productivity and better results for their clients. 1. Overview of the Role The Service Delivery Manager is responsible for the full-service lifecycle for day to day service delivery to project delivery. The position is one of development. Staff, self, process and role development. This role is not for candidates that are looking for a standard 9 to 5 role, they require an individual who will be an integral part of their growth plans and will be required to be thinking about the business and their part in the business 24/7, a candidate who can appreciate the integral part they play in the success of the organisation. Ideas will be listened to and encouraged. On-going training and mentoring will be provided. Self-development and a thirst for learning will be expected 2. Personality Type This role will suit a people and detailed oriented person. They are looking for processors, organizers, and systemic thinkers who have evidence of self-learning and a drive to succeed. 3. Specific minimum qualifications and expertise - University Degree 2:1 and above (preferable IT or Business) - Detail and goal oriented - A proven consistent self-learner - Data mining/ reporting knowledge (Basic understanding of database structures) - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build good working relationships with 3rd parties and partners - Knowledge of ConnectWise (or similar PSA) 4. Other role requirements - Ideally have worked within an IT MSP environment in a similar capacity - Knowledge of supporting networks, infrastructure and cloud services for SME and Enterprise Clients - Good understanding of business - Collaborative approach to leadership and management - Exceptional problem-solving skills; technical, strategic and organisational - Passion about business and technology, a natural leader, pragmatic and creative - An effective leader of technical experts, able to get the best from a diverse group of people and skills - Able to balance technical excellence with pragmatic action, delivery / execution and business demands - Proven skills in process development - Ability to predict potential issues and implement mitigation plans - Team, project and client management experience - High level of analytical ability, excellent interpersonal skills and effective communicator (written and verbal) - Be well versed and comfortable directly interfacing with clients and providing support around the clock during times of high stress - A strong focus on customer service and a passion for over achieving - History of taking smart risks and aggressively leading through change
