This is a very exciting time to be joining Paradigm Housing Group. With 14,000 properties, a turnover of £115m and a substantial development and sales programme, we are making the most of our many opportunities in a challenging but rewarding environment. We have a clear and ambitious view of where we are as an organisation and where we need to get to; providing more homes for people who need them by running an efficient and successful business. We are currently seeking a Head of Repairs to effectively manage a P&L of circa £6 million and be responsible for the effective operational and commercial performance of the Reactive Repairs division, overseeing the delivery of repairs (circa 30,000 a year) either directly through the DLO or through supply chain partners. You will be responsible to the Executive Managing Director of Property Services and you will set and achieve challenging targets for agreed KPIs. These will include reporting on, and being accountable for performance against targets through the management and governance structure. Amongst other duties you will also deliver against financial targets ensuring that P&L performance is met or exceeded. Decisive and highly focused you will inspire confidence in others by role modelling appropriate behaviours. Owning and driving contract performance within the DLO (internal contractor) and across the wider materials and labour supply base you will also demonstrate in-depth functional expertise and broad business knowledge to achieve financial and operational objectives. Further to this you will also lead cross-functional or external projects to bring improvements. As this post requires the post-holder to have a current UK licence and car available for business use at all times, you will be entitled to £4,936 per annum, car cash allowance. At Paradigm, whilst we work hard, we offer an attractive range of benefits and encourage everyone to grow with us. We welcome applicants from all sections of the communities we work in. Shortlisting will be conducted in line with the essential and desirable criteria set out in the person specification. Closing date: 1st October 2017
