We are looking for a Merchandiser to work with a unique company based in Dorchester on a temporary basis, but this role could lead to a permanent position for the right candidate. Requirements of the role include: - Placing orders so that stock is readily available - Liaising with, and build relationships with suppliers; - Continuously improving the understanding of demand, forecasts, and stock ordering - Improvement of supply chain resilience. You will report to the Commercial Manager who is an experienced Merchandiser The successful candidate will have: - A well organised approach to work - Be able to plan workload to meet deadlines and timescales - Have good people skills, and be keen to work as part of a small team - Commercial awareness - Confidence - The ablity to cope with pressure - Strong numerical and analytical skills - Computer literacy, and experience of using spreadsheets and accounting systems - Numerate and able to count stock, and remember product codes. Hours and Salary - Work times 9-5 Monday to Friday - Salary will be between £22,442 (£10.79ph) - £25,779 (£12.39ph). If this sounds like the perfect challenge for you, send your CV today
