Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical/Multi Skilled/Improvements)Oxford£38,000 - £42,000 + Holidays + Banks Holidays + DAYS BASED ROLE + Pension + BonusMaintenance Engineer required for an innovative company. This a new role due to growth and will suit someone looking for an in depth maintenance role which includes machinery improvement, design of machinery layout and technical support. You will be a key player in a niche growing company. The role would be suited to an engineer who is mechanically biased with basic 3 phase experience. Ideally you will transfer from a manufacturing background. You must have a flare for improvements and want to make a difference.The role will predominantly be responsible for maintaining a range of production equipment on site. The machinery is centralised round pipework, valves and pumps and is mechanically focused however you will also be working with 3 phase electrics. The company produce a fairly new and innovative product so there is still room for product development and you will be supporting this by carrying out ongoing tests and identifying design and process improvements.You will be required to travel to customer sites on average 3 times per month to carry out site surveys and do preliminary assessments to advise the installation team. Following this, there may be some requirement to assist with product commissioning and provide after sales training/product support. Applicants need to be aware that there is a paperwork element to this role.This role will suit strong engineers who are looking for a varied role and want to support a small company in their upcoming phase of growth.
